Tilte says it all. I'm getting ready to do a fresh install of my XP Pro. I have a program call Express Assist that is great..but guess what, I've lost my CD key and can't load it anymore. So, does anyone know of a free email backup program.

Thanks

What is it you want to backup? Addresses? Folders and Emails? All of those can be done without the aid of any software.

Tis just as easy to copy the Applications Data, Favorites, and Cookie folders into an archive (WinRAR/WinACE).

can't you just copy all the .dbx files (Tools --> Options --> Maintenance Tab --> Store Folder button to find location of .dbx files) to the new computer?

or you can change the folder OE stores all that info in - to a partition you won't wipe clean & then just change it again after you've re-installed :)

There is an excellent program that I use called e-Backup. It's shareware, though it doesn't timeout. You can get it here.
