is there a good non laggy bluetooth mouse?

I've tried a few logitechs and even an apple magic mouse on my laptop. They are all no where as smooth as I like. Is this just a function of bluetooth mice or is there a really good one I've missed.

Any particular reason it has to be bluetooth? My experiences have been similiar with BT mice. I've been happy with the Logitech wireless (non BT) mice with the little USB nano receivers. There are a bunch of models and sizes available to fit your budget and requirements.

Is the lag you experience only when moving the mouse initally? If after the mouse is moving it responds acceptably you may want to look at potential power saving tweaks. In my experience its becasue for battery saving the mouse significantly slows down its scan speed when its been idle for a period of time after the mouse detects movement it resumes normal scan speeds and performs normally.

My Razer Orochi only hitched when I'd first move it (quickly reconnects after a power-saving disconnect) but it would go back to sleep after only a second of inactivity (overly-aggressive power-savings). I know it's been revised since then so it has probably been improved with a longer sleep timer, but I didn't mind because it had a cloth USB cord with 1ms response time and no wireless connection/disconnection when I wanted to game and that same issue isn't really an issue for everything else. BT response time was 6ms (very tolerable).
