Is there a freeware program that will combine images to make them an animated .gif?

I have MS Photodraw and I am trying to do my first animated gif...wrong
software?


I can't seem to figure out how to "combine" the
various gifs to play in sequence.

Should I be using a different program?

Is there any free/shareware program that you might recommend?
