Is there a free poker site?

partypoker.com has free games. Free games are retarded most of the time as everyone seems to go all in on the first hand of NL games...once you get rid of the idiots you can actually learn alot.

partypoker is ok if u just wanna horse around, u can trick the system into giving u $5000 everytime your balance goes below $5000 (so its not a really fun place to play)

pokerroom is better

I've done partypoker and pokerstars both, I prefer pokerstars a bit. Partypoker seems to have a lot more all-in punks in the bigger tables.

IMO poker isn't any fun when you play for free, there's just isn't any thrill in it knowing you got nothing to lose.

It's not only not fun, it isn't even poker. All it's doing is essentially cutting for high card. You can't bluff anyone out of a pot, so whoever gets dealt the best hand winds. It's really popular for 12 year olds who get dealt the occasional full house, bet the ranch and delude themselves into believing they accomplished something.

Apparently you don't know how to play. If you've got the cards, bet. You probably whine when it takes a large buy-in to see the flop too, don't you?

Uhm...why can't you bluff? You can always bluff.

I am not a huge fan of poker online...it's not the same as sitting around a table with some friends and some drinks.

the only way to learn how to play poker is with money. without money the same decisions can not and will not be made.

that being said you can play at pokerroom.com for free

i remember going to the wild play money NL tables at partypoker. even though the buy-in is 100k, some freaks who were there had around 150m in play. you saw 30m pots go around left and right. just look on the list for the tables that have 500 people in line.

You can learn without money. You just have to convince yourself that it's real.

if you're really really concerned about spending too much money, but don't like the idea of free tables, you can always try 1 cent poker at paradisepoker.com. of course, the rake can really eat at you with only 2 players seated.

Trust me, I know how to play. And I'm referring to the losers that go all-in before the flop. You don't have ANYTHING before the flop worth betting on. A pair of aces in the pocket will still lose to two pair.
