Is there a fix for the mercantile bug in Morrowind?

So I found a master trainer and got my mercantile skill up to 100. I can buy things for a really cheap price (training, traveling, goods) but when I attempt to sell anything I get the lowest possible offer from the merchants. Apparently this is a bug present in the game but as of yet I can't find a patch or mod to correct it. Does anyone know if one exists?

There is a money cap of the vendors. I just went inside a guys house and killed him in balmora and took over his house and turned it into my personal storage building. I had hundreds of weapons in there. Ahh, good memories.
