Is there a fix for flat panel scaling?

If I change the flat panel scaling to Do Not Scale and then exit the NVIDIA Control Panel it doesn't take. It keeps going back to Use NVIDIA scaling.

Does anyone know if there is a fix?

I have exactly the same problem. The only solution for me (at this moment) was to remove the driver and install the one that came with the card (96.89).

There are also other minor bugs like this, the driver needs some testing and validation....

I didn't see any performance differences using 96.89 over 97.02, but DVD playback was bonked using 96.89 with PowerDVD so I switch back to the newer drivers.

Scaling doesn't work for me either, but luckily, I haven't had any performance issues running any of my games at the full native 1680x1050 res with my LCD. Of course, it's only a matter of time before I come across a game that will bring even the mighty 8800GTX to it's knees.
