is there a firefox extension that can bookmark all active tabs?

sometimes you have 1043284832 firefox tabs open, and well, that's the norm for me. i created a post about a month ago addressing my concerns about FF's consumption of RAM and stated that there is often a need to close FF just to prevent my computer from overheating (YMMV; this may just be a problem due to the windows i have open).

naturally, i'm not trying to get an extension that would be exclusive to me. i think this would be very useful for those who may have to close a browser for whatever reason (reading NSFW stuff while at work, for instance, and then the boss comes by ;)) or to reboot due to a program installation. there are plenty of good reasons why an extension such as this should be available.

so when i close FF, i still want to save (and possibly reopen, all at the same time) all those previously active tabs without having to bookmark them individually (which would be a super pain) perhaps by clicking a button on the toolbar or something along those lines -- otherwise, the browser will close normally. is there an extension out there that could do that? (if not, can any developers browsing the forums create it?)

I'm sure I pointed this out in that thread too, but Opera does this natively. That extension is just another extension copying what Opera already does. Opera also doesn't have memory problems. All the protein, none of the fat.

Sessionsaver does what you're looking for without explicitly bookmarking all the tabs. However, should you ever want to bookmark an entire set of tabs, that what the "Bookmark all tabs in a folder" checkbox does in the Bookmark dialog.

The TabMix extension has a session restore function and includes lots of other goodies.

sessionsaver tends to screw up with other extensions active so if it doesn't work right when you install, try deactivating other extensions until you figure out where the conflict is.

The default install has it already.

When you go to add to bookmarks there is a checkbox for "bookmark all open tabs" etc.

I use it all the time. It will create folder with all the tabbed links in it.

Click the "Bookmark This Page..." first and then the subsequent dialog that comes up has the checkbox for "Bookmark all tabs in a folder"

Sounds like fat to me since I don't use that feature. ;)
