My vent in the bathroom doesn't seem to filter the air as fast anymore. Is there a filter in here or any way to clear the air faster?

Almost certainly not a filter. But it could be plugged with dust. Pull the cover and clean it.

If you do not use sand paper for TP and buy the wuss stuff, it will clog the vent in time by throwing a cloud of fibers in the air when you tear a piece off. You can also have the bearing wear out or the rubber piece that holds the propeller on the shaft if you don't have the blower type fan.

Generally (not always) when one of the bearings goes bad it makes a lot of noise.
