Is there a driving simulation game for the PC just like Gan Turismo of Playstation?

Is there a drving simulation game for the PC that is like Gran Turismo of Playstation or equivalent of it? When I checked our local shop here the only game I think that is a driving simulation is the TOCA: Race Driver 3. Need for Speed is not a bit realistic for me and its main feature is car customization only. Is there any other driving simulation game for the PC with cars from all major car manufacturers?
 
Yeah Race Driver 3 is about the closest. It doesn't have many street cars though, because most of the game modes are like roadsters, GT cars, etc.. But there's a fair amount of customization.
 
GTR/GTR2/GT Legends are absolutely your best options (if realism is important), and all of them are better simulations than GT (which really can't even be considered a true simulation in comparison). However, none of these games have 'street' cars (which is kind of a disappointment to me)... But they're still quite enjoyable.
