Is there a drive that can read dvds, cdroms, and burn cds?

yes they exist! the one that comes to mind is the Ricoh DVD ROM / CDR-W 12x10x32x8 IDE!

A couple...most are fairly weak though. Like 4x4x24x6 with very poor access times.

The Ricoh 9120A is a 12x10 CDRW with BurnProof (JustLink), an 8x DVDROM and a 32x CDROM with seek times that Rival a 32x SCSI Plextor CDRom

Excellent drive if you want an all-in-one. I really wouldn't consider any others, they have pretty poor performance.

I have the Ricoh MP9120A and it simply rocks. Granted, I has a 2x burner prior to this, so just about anything would have rocked.

I think Ricoh has just announced a newer model that does 20x/10x/40x CDRW and 12x DVD, the MP9200. I might be a little off on the speeds.
