Some days, I keep eating and eating. Yet i still remain hungry. I actually stop eating because I get tired of chewing and eating the same thing, that I move on to oatmeal or something. Last night for example i ate(in the course of 1 hour or so)

-3 chicken breasts
-2 platefulls of rice
-2 bowls of salad
-2 necterines
-1 snickers bar
-1 english muffin
-handfulls of raisins
-1 cup of orange juice
-2 cups of water
-protein shake

and I still didnt feel satisfied, I felt like I was 1/2 way to being full. Im 19 yrs old, 5'11 and about 162 lbs. I remember hearing things like this being related to worm(s) in your stoumach?

I believe the worms live in your small intestine, and I don't think they can digest that amount of food that quickly.

For the longest time, I was *never* hungry... I just ate because it was "time to eat" or because the situation dictated that I should.

But for the last month or so, I've not been anything *but* hungry, and it's annoying as hell. I'm not letting myself eat nearly as much as I *want* to eat, because I'd be huge. I'm just hungry all the time now.

Intestinal tapeworms can cause something similar IIRC. If you're really concerned, see your family doctor. Some simple bloodwork can reveal a lot.

Are you also incessantly thirsty? History of diabetes in family?
Polydipsia, polyphagia, polyuria, the triad of diaebtic s/s.
Thirsty, hungry, pee lot...get it checked out.

i forget the name, but some people do not get the stomach full signal to their brain. they will literally eat themselves to death.

Sounds like you have a very hyper metabolism.

Wish I had that problem. I eat little, but cannot keep the weight off.

Yes! I drink awful ammounts of water when I can, only because I dont really drink too much out of public water fountains. I also run/workout so i try to stay very hydrated. I Pee at least 1 time every 2 hrs or so.

Just like poor old Pizza the Hut 🙁

Tapeworms aren't really common (are quite rare actually) in the US. In Africa, it's pretty much one out of two people..

Eh? He was eaten by his lacky.

My boss's daughter has it. I believe it has something to do with the thyroid, I think. I cannot remember, though. They put her on some new medication and it has really helped.

wow that's scary. i'm thirsty and hungry all the time, and lately i've been peeing a lot too. i was going to get my prostate checked out (someone said it can get enlarged and make you pee all the time) but my doctor scheduled me for a full physical instead.

Enlarged prostate can cause frequent small micturitions. it wont make you go frequently necessarily. Stream reduced, difficult to start, dribbling other prostate specific stuff. Doubt it s that.

Diabetes mellitus is not that big a deal anymore what with the advances in testing, treatment, lifestyle and dietary adjustments. Nothing to be scared of, esp before you're even diagnosed. Try to avoid foods high on glycemic index...and eat more complex carbohydrates, fewer processed junk...
