If I don't plan to play any games, and the most video related tasks will be watching dvd movie and working with photoshop, is there any point in DVI connection?
My monitor is 22 inch widescreen viewsonic at 1680x1050 resolution.
I have both cables with me, so its not a question of "is DVI worth the money".
All I want to know is if there is a difference in non-gaming environment.
The reason why I am asking is because with DVI, sometimes my screen turn's black for 1-2-3 seconds. It happens like 2-3 times per weekm but is rather annoying. It never happened before, and it only happened after I started using DVI. With VGA it doesn't do that, so that's what I am using now.
I honestly did not see a difference between VGA and DVI? Am I missing something?
Are colors shown better with DVI? Or are movies shown with better quality? What is the difference and why did i not notice it?
