old question :p

the performance difference is negligeable, even if running 4x FSAA and highest quality and anistropic texture filtering etc
only a matter of like 1-5% or something. not worth it unless youre stinkin rich and if ya are then go get a gf4 ti460 or radeon 8500 !! :D

well i have a Radeon AIW in my machine and it's the best vid card i've ever had (granted i don't play many 3d games).......i will be installing the 8500dv today and somehow i doubt it 'sux big time'

of course this doesn't answer your question but i'd ignore the utterances of jedjed and the like.........personally for $25 more i'd get the 128mb

I'm using a retail Radeon 8500, had a GF3 original before that. Either is a better card, and a better deal, than ANY Ti200. No problems with either.

There is a difference but don't get the 128 MB card if it costs a lot more than the 64 MB one. Personally for an extra $24 I'd definitely do it.
