Is there a decent USB desktop microphone out there?

I just tried out the Telex M-560 Super directional, its great it picks up my voice just about anywhere in the room, great for voice recognition. But just some simple voice recording it totally blows! Theres a constant hiss that won't go away no matter what you do(i've read around and its a problem with the mic).
Can anyone recommend a good desktop mic, id perfer it too be USB, need consistancy of sound from comp too comp.
Im looking at the Labtec Verse 704 its a USB desktop mic, anyone have this mic, any hiss problem?
