Is there a DC for a cure for Chron's.

It sucks. My best friend recently go diagnosed with it. It's a life long thing, and she is only 15.

I was wondering if there is any research going on (that I could help with) that goes into finding a cure or even a cause for it.

Not really aware of a project myself. It might not lend itself to DC strengths.

I know someone (older) who has the disease also.

An x-boss of mine had crohns disease when he lived here in the UK, when he retired to Malaysia the crones went into remission (I won't say cured as I don't know enough about it). He says its the different diet & much less stress that fixed it. I could ask him more about it if you like.

I also vaguely remember reading in New Scientist (1-2yrs ago?) about new treatments being tried which could help, including faecal transplants! Yes really! Sounds vile but it can work, I'm sure if you Google it you'll find out more.

Afraid I don't know of any DC projects dealing with this 1.
