Is there a DBAN equivalent in Windows?

Hello,

I'm trying to look for something to securely erase data off some hard drives. I initially tried DBAN, but for some reason it can't detect my hard drives attached via a USB connection (external enclosure.) As I can't task my main PC to sit around waiting for the format to finish, I need to use the external enclosure hooked up to my laptop. But of course, since it can't or won't detect the hard drive, it's fairly pointless there.

Are there any programs of that caliber available for running within Windows? I do NOT need to format my Windows drives, but I'm getting rid of some of my older Data drives, and I'd like to wipe the data off of it first.

Thanks in advance

Nevermind..

I was using the 1.0.7 stable release, but I guess it doesn't pick up USB external enclosures or something.
I downloaded the DBAN 2.0 pre-release beta (a year old, lol.) and it worked like a charm, now to wait a week for it to finish wiping..

Edit:
Woohoo! 600!
