I hate waking up in the morning feeling like I'm gonna puke. What a way to start the day... After a while it goes away, once I've gotten some food in my stomach, but is there something I can do to prevent the pukey feeling when I wake up in the morning?

No cure. You need to find what's causing it and treat that. This time of year, that pukey morning feeling is pretty common, especially in areas that have cold weather. With the warm/cool/wet fall we've had, my sinuses are going crazy too. Having that nasty stuff dripping down your throat into an empty stomach all night tends to make me really nauseous when I wake up - maybe that's what you're feeling too? Try a decongestant at night?

Otherwise, my pregnancy-morning-sickness cure was to keep some oyster crackers by the side of the bed. Before I got up, I'd chew on a couple of them and that helped a lot.

I'd love to help, but sorry, you're asking the WRONG crowd, IMHO. Sure, ChrichtonsGirl had a suggestion, but what percentage of ATOT people are or have been pregnant? Not too many, I hope... :D

I have this when I'm up all through the night. Maybe you should try to sleep more? Its gastric.

cinimon (sp) helps with some women, it did with my wife. She lived off of cinimon gum in the mornings (no she didn't swallow her gum she only chewed it)

Crackers are the old faithful approach. But basically it is different for all women, and you just have to ride it out.

you are pregnant right?

;)

Umm, maybe I'm missing something here, but is hpkeeper not male, therefore (hopefully) not pregnant? I get "morning sickness" at times too, but usually I'm fine after eating or having my cup of coffee.

Who knows what it is, it's very annoying though.
