As I said, I'm not looking for just a watch. Which is what makes this thread different from other watch threads.
Perhaps we should petition for a watch forum.

Some pretty cool, albeit completely unnecessary stuff here:

Guys, guys, I have the bestest watch idea evar! Take one of those video watches and load it with videos of bodacious babes announcing the current time. "Ooh baby, it's 4:27." Wiggle, wiggle.
Perhaps we should petition for a watch forum.

I much prefer my cell phone. Before I carried a cell phone, I used to use a pocket watch. Wrist watch tanlines = bleh.
That new Sony wrist-mounted Android companion device that costs $70 is called the "LiveView."
I just stumbled across this too:

(Android powered watch)
I also went ahead and ordered an MBW-150 to experiment with the iOS hacks that support it.

i think it might tell time too
Many pilot's type watches come with thick manuals of everything they can do. What kinds of stuff are you looking for.
you can still get a calculator watch, they had a watch at one time that could play touch-tones into a phone as well.
I don't use the Jesusphone (I like actually having a phone which doesn't drop calls / shatter on demand) so the MBW is probably out for me.
I'mWatch is intriguing though, though I'm definitely not an Android fan. Still, could work well as a standalone device. Doesn't look janky either. imwatch.it is bookmarked - thanks.

He writes Bluetooth wristwatch support for most smartphones. With it, Android is supported for all MBW-series watches (and more).
Just get a TAG Heuer and call it a day.
That's kind of missing the point.
It's got to do something else useful as I keep reiterating. And I'm not talking about things that watches usually tend to do such as stopwatches, tachymeters, etc.
