is there a command to open a link "in a new window"?

on a similar theme, how to program a mouse button (wheel button) using Intellipoint software to "open in new window"? I tried setting it to keystroke shift + click but it doesnt register the click 🙁

How about you use Phoenix browser...then the middle mouse button will open the link in a new tab

VERY useful, esp for looking at multiple threads here for example! 🙂

Confused

Someone has a link in his signature, I don't know who (search function doesn't work on signatures unfortunately), but it adds a listing to the right click menu. What it does:
Highlight a link, right click, and a menu option is there, Open Selected Link in New Window. It's really cool. I'll post it to my webserver; take note, I am not taking credit for it; I just have no idea whose it really is. Link
It's a ZIP file with some registry entries.
Use the openselectedurl_95-98.reg file if your Windows directory is Windows. If it's WinNT, use the openselectedurl_NT-2K.reg file.
