i always pick my scabs, and to not pick them is an effort for me, i don't know why..
why do people pick their scabs even though it causes pain?...doesn't picking them delay the healing process?...

yeah pulpp is right... seems the more intelligent people in the world try to feel a great amount of pain since there must exist an opposite amount of pleasure... this way they know what they are seeking...

either that or i'm full of BS

I only pick scabs when I'm bored. I suppose it's an activity similar to tapping one's thumbs on the desk...it doesn't hurt that much, and it keeps you occupied doing something. :)

How else to scabs go away? I don't think I've ever had a scar that I didn't pick until it left a scar.

Or when I'm showering the scab will fall off by itself. Isn't that the same thing as picking it?

I always picked my scabs. Until one of them resulted in a scar that is so far perminant, and has been so for about a year and a half.

It's hard not picking them though.
