...or is it only a dream?

Has anyone ever come across a retail case with the motherboard flipped so that the connectors protrude from the front? or the top?
Or has anyone ever seen some ideas for this type of mod?

Before I go and dump my computer from my case into my desk drawer, I was hoping for some non-wacko/childproof alternatives. Seems like it would be a popular idea for those of us who constantly fiddle with cabling and whatnot.

Thanks

Dja ever think of clamshelling two cases together - one with the drive bays in front for the drives and the other with the card openings facing forward for the mobo... Or if you have an LCD screen, perhaps you could just orient your case sideways behind it. Then both the front and rear would be relatively accessible. Many ways to skin a cat, but I've never seen one with both the drive bays and card openings on the same end. Though the I-Tee has drives in front and the card opeinings on the left - but last I knew the I-Tee ( http://www.lope.com.tw/i-tee.htm ) is not available in the states yet.

zepper, that itee's really funky
but it seems like you'd need a long ribbon to reach the upper 5.25 bays while the case is open and that they would just fold and block airflow when you close it
