Is there a car website that predicts how much cars will depreciate?

A lot of a value depends on how many cars like it are in your area, what condition is the 1body, 2inside, 3drivetrain. 2 door cars usually hold there value better than 4 door cars as younger people usually buy used cars and they usually don't need/want 4 doors.

edmunds and kbb are good. In general a honda depreciates slowly where as chrysler depreciates quickly (for instance). Cadillacs depreciate at a ludicrous rate.

I can't imagine this car dropping any lower in price. Seems like it would almost be a good "investment".

BTW, what's up with Edmunds now? The Used Cars link no longer accesses their normal database.

Curse you Ornery, now I want a beater Corvette...

Only downside I can see is insurance cost. I've also heard they're a bitch to work on, due to cramped quarters, but they can't be too much worse than these small cars with the engine and tranny shoehorned under the hood.

For $10K, I could buy it & just put liability ins on it... Was just looking on Cars.com, there are quite a few Corvettes in that age group for ~ that kind of $. I've heard the 84-85 model year is the only one to really stay away from.
