Is there a car that beats the Acura TSX w/Navi for value?

It's time to seriously crunch some numbers and make my first real car purchase of my life. Right now I'm leaning on the Acura TSX w/Navi and was wondering if there is any other car that has similar bang for buck as the Acura that also comes with an available navigation that works well.

1. Why do you need navigation?
2. TL is not much more.

(but the wife drives it 🙁)

The TSX has a very cool interior, but even the S-type is totally gutless.

It may be good bit more expensive, but check out the Volvo S40 T5. It's turbocharged so more power can easily be had with a chip, the interior is nicer (it's European) and the seats are unrivaled under $200k.

I haven't looked much into resale value, but I wouldn't trade my TSX for any comparable car, that's for sure. As for the Navi, it is extremely useful if you drive a lot, even in areas that are familiar to you. However, you can easily save $1-2k if you can do without it.

Some people buy a car for more than just the speed/power. I went with a TSX over the Accord for two reasons: I wanted a manual and loved the TSX design. I am all about the simple, clean design of the TSX.
