I just got a refurbished RT311 router from fryz, and am wondering if some of the quirks are problems or not...
I am using a RT311, using a linksys 5-port hub with a pacbell/SBC Global DSL line.
There are times when I'm online and I would suddenly lag for a minute or two, before it will reconnect. Something like AOL AIM would automatically disconnect and reconnect. Is this a problem w/ the router or my dsl modem, hub, or dsl line?
Also, I can't send email out when I am using the router/hub. I'm using outlook express 5 and a mindspring email account. Why can't I send email out?
Lastly, I have this weird problem when trying to play counter-strike online. Sometimes, I will be unable to connect to any servers at all, all of them will come back as unable to connect, but a reboot of the router/modem/hub and/or my pc will fix it. What is wrong here?
