Is there a better PSU for this price?

I'm putting together a garage PC to run my CNC machine that will have an E2180 CPU at stock speeds, 2 GB of DDR2, a 200GB SATA HD and a 9600GSO video card. The motherboard doesn't have onboard video and the 9600GSO is all I have on hand. Would this PSU, with 18 amps on the 12v rail be enough?

I like it for the free shipping, good reviews, and $12 rebate. Also, the rebate says it ends on 2/28. It's 3/1 in Ohio right now and will be 3/1 in Cali in 2 hours. As long as I purchase it before midnight, PST, is that how the invoice will read?

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't put that Tt TR2 power supply near anything that I had one whit of care about.

As has been said about those power supplies:

Thermaltake TR2 is a flawed product that must be avoided at all costs. It can’t deliver its labeled wattage at high temperatures, but this is not the worst of it: ripple and noise level are way above the maximum allowed when you pull 80% or more from the unit’s labeled capacity, overloading your components (especially electrolytic capacitors from the motherboard and video cards), which can cause your PC to present an erratic behavior (crashes and random resets) and, under extreme conditions, damage components.

Of course, you can see this simply by looking at the +12V rail output, which you listed as 17A, absolutely horrible an output rating for a "400W" power supply......that translates into only 204W.

Take an Antec EarthWatts 380 Green. +12V rail rated for a combined continuous output of 336W, or 28A.....and it sells for $39 at Newegg. Much better built, better warranty, and I'd trust electronics with it.

I've had horrible luck with Thermaltake power supplies. 3 for 3 have died early deaths and none could actually deliver their advertised power.

I would be pretty skeptical of any power supply in the $25 range.

That Antec Meghan mentioned is a good PSU for $40, also I saw the OCZ Modstream 500w for $40, it is Modular, Active PFC and 80 plus certified and 3 year warranty and free shipping although I am not sure it compares in reliability to the Antec.
