Is there a better laptop for me?

I currently use an Acer Aspire One 722 (AMD C-60, 2GB, upgraded 60GB SSD, 3.2lbs)
It's fast enough for all the usual stuff, but I would like to be able to game a bit on the go.
I'm specifically looking for something than can play Guild Wars 2 decently at low-med detail.
I'd like to stay at 4 pounds or less as I carry it with me daily and I've been spoiled by the (lack of) weight of the AO722.
My budget is $600-$700.

I am considering the Samsung Series 5 NP535U4C with:
AMD 2Ghz Quad-Core A10-4655M APU
750GB 5400RPM Hard Drive (would swap in current SSD)
14-inch LED-backlit matte display
4GB DDR3-1333 RAM (would upgrade to 8GB dual channel)
DVD±RW drive
3.99 pounds
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Series.../dp/B0083S3N3W
Consistently on sale for $649

I like that this system has a matte display and a DVD±RW drive, yet still comes in just shy of 4 pounds!
The only thing it doesn't have that I would really like is a backlit keyboard.

Are there any other laptops comparable to this in price, performance, and weight (and maybe with a backlit keyboard)?
I would consider giving up the matte screen and/or DVD for a backlit keyboard or faster GPU if need be.
There's very few reviews of the A10-4655M and none that I've seen with GW2 benchmarks.
Is the HD7620G GPU with dual channel RAM enough to play GW2?

The minimum specs for GW2 specify an Intel HD3000. The A10 should be fine. There aren't a lot of reviews of the 4655M because everybody reviewed the top end part. Speeds of the 4655 will be about 10% less. (It's just lower-clocked.)

The Samsung laptop you linked would be pretty nice, judging by the specsheet. (Samsung don't build no crap.)

A newer Intel laptop with HD4000 graphics would be a close second in terms of FPS and faster for everything else. And as a laptop user, you'd benefit from Intel's better power efficiency at a given price/performance point.

I finally got to tinker with a Thinkpad E420 yesterday, which a lot of people on here seemed to be a fan of. I was installing Virtualbox and Ubuntu on it for a classmate, so I was a bit disappointed with the slow HDD performance. (SSDs in all my machines spoil me) but it was a VERY nice machine otherwise.

It's been discontinued and replaced by the E430, which includes HD4000 graphics.

I would consider 8GB of RAM and an SSD to be a minimum. But that's me. For light gaming and being lame on teh interwebz, an HDD is okay. :)
