Is there a better Bluetooth headset than the Motorola HS850?

Read a handful of reviews on this. A bit pricy, but worth it to me.

Anything better out there I should be considering? I have a Motorola V551 phone.

The Jabra Freespeak is pretty nice. Only issue I have is it disconnects occasionally from my phone (Nokia 3650), but usually that only happens when the batteries are very low, and the phone's bluetooth support seems a little flaky anyway (so I'm not sure which end is the problem).

Hmm thanks but that doesn't give me much confidence.

i know on the blackberry handhelds we have at work when the battery is low they automatically shut off wireless and bluetooth in order to keep the phone alive longer. maybe your phone has the same feature?

Sorry, I meant the batteries in the headset, not the phone. It happens even if the phone is plugged into my car charger. It will happily keep the bluetooth running until it shuts itself down from lack of power. The phone has also locked up on me a few times, and displayed other quirky behavior. I would blame the phone before the headset here.

Sound quality and range on the headset are excellent. It also can redial, put calls on hold, and voice dial wirelessly (although I suspect most bluetooth headsets can do this these days). Battery life is very good; I only have to charge it once every two weeks or so unless I talk a lot (having it "on" for 60-90 minutes/day).

bump.

My HS850 is great. I use it with my v710 and its super.

Hope that helps, battery life is virtually unlimited since you can just close it..., it's comfortable and lightweight... all of the things you could hope for, I did, and it did not disappoint.

Works great. Both my wife and I have one. Tested up to 60 feet unobstructed with my motorola mpx220. Got them for around 70 bucks apiece online.

From a pricegrabber storefront Malcom wireless got it in 2days HS850
They came with chargers. Same ones the come with our mpx220

any other BT headsets to consider.
I want to gift one to my dad but don't want to spend $80 on the HS-850 coz he might not like the whole concept of a BT headset.
any cheaper alternatives and if yes, what are its pros and cons.
