Is there a bait for silverfish?

those are some of the nastiest house pests ... had them upstate NY but none down here, thankfully. Good luck.

First you need to remove old papers, boxes, books, and clothes from the attic to basement will help remove food and hiding places. Moth crystals placed in boxes in the attic will also help. Then a good residual insecticide that contains Cypermethrin should be applied every 3 weeks for three separate sprayings.

There are also Silverfish traps. Contact a local pest control agent or county extension service to get more info about this.

maybe it's not silverfish, they are about 1-1/2" long and stand above the ground about .125" on a bunch of legs, have big feelers in the front, die really easily, look nasty as fvck...

yes I confirmed it is a silverfish, barf
you think the sight alone deserves a barf ? It was on our ceiling... my gf back then thought it was a good idea to smash it with a textbook by throwing it upwards... well half of the thing fell down on my bed... the other half was still on the ceiling.

This is why I like raid + vacuum. No guts.

what? need something to kill these sons a btches, conservative002 told how, but i was wondering if there are traps/bait to kill them

I like silverfish for some reason, they look cool.

But they eat my books, so they must die.

That's not a Silverfish. That sounds like a house centipede.

They are beneficial. They eat spiders, earwigs, cockroach nymphs, flies, moths, bedbugs, crickets, and coincidentally.. silverfish.

Does it look like this?

Like I said, they're beneficial, but I still wouldn't want to sleep with one. So don't kill them, just put them outside.

back home, i had some that looked very similar to the house centipedes but to me they looked like they might have been a bit smaller? but with more legs? and kinda "furry" almost cause of all the legs? anyone know what those are?

edit: baby house centipedes maybe?

I hate silverfish with a passion. My parents house has them and I think I brought them into my condo when I packed my old comic book collection (over 20 full sized boxes!) back to my condo.
