Is there a audio cassette retailer online?

Okay... my grandfather will not get out of the stone age and buy a CD player. Please tell me there's somewhere that sells cassettes still so that I can see if they have the new Lionel Richie album for him.

Buy a cassette deck and record it for him, or just tell him too freaking bad. We use metal now. Industrial age!
Every record store I've ever been to will order a tape cassette for no extra charge.
Maybe back in 97 😉

buy him a cheapie cd player and go through the download/rip/copy/burn process for all his songs(of the tapes he has), from mp3s... your inheritance will be worth it 😉 (you know, the "rich uncle" that everyone except me has)

I've offered to buy him a nice Pioneer CD player to go with the rest of his Pioneer setup (receiver and record player), but he does not want any new technology as he puts it. He won't even let us buy him a new TV because the tube is going on his MGA. It's like WTF basically.

Actually, I mainly buy tape cassettes. My car has a full logic cassette player and I've got no good reason to switch to a CD player. Most of the albums I buy new are on cassette. And most that aren't on cassette I buy second-hand on vinyl. 🙂

I've been debating if I want to take my CD deck out of my car and put the cassette back in. Have to play the iPod somehow, and FM transmitters don't seem to work very well. 😉

Buy yeah, you can always buy him the CD and make a tape for him. Or try and find a no frills CD player and show him how much CDs are better. I remember when I tried convincing my grandmother that a CDs were better, I told her she can quickly skip to the songs she likes without having to fast forward and guess where the song was. That seemed to have been the ultimate deciding factor...

Get a hardwired FM modulator. Works like a charm.

Or a head unit with a line-in.
