Is ther e a way to send a fax to from a networked machine to a regular fax machine?

I don't have any software like winfax. Is there any shareware? otherwise i have to go down to the centralized fax machine and its a pain.

sure if you pay money for a service like eFax.

Search "fax" here and in software forum for several old threads on this (might need to search archives).

I am on a networked PC (windows2000), and would like to send a fax to someone in another city who has a regular fax machine. Furthermore, I would like to do it for free.


thanks for the eFax lead... i don't want to pay for anything. Just trying to avoid using our centralized fax service for our organization (its slow).

in summary, TPC (free but spotty coverage area) and eFax are about the only options available.
