I'm working trade with someone who needs Micron -8E memory. I'm pretty sure I have what he needs but want to be 100% sure before we do the trade.
These are the markings on the sticker thats on the chip:

MT16LSDT1664AG-10EC7 PC100-222-620
MALAYSIA 0005
128MB, SYNCH, 100Mhz, CL2

It doesn't say -8E on the sticker but these are the markings on the actual black chips on the SDRAM module:

0002 2-2
MT 48LC8M8A2
TG -8E C

So I'd like to know if my assumption is correct that this chip is what this gent needs.

Thanks

I would say those are definitely 8E Micron chips. And at CAS 2, that sounds right...

Who made the stick of RAM? It's just using the Micron chips, right?

That certainly looks like Crucial/Micron Technology -8E 8 ns memory modules to me too.

But call 1-800-336-8896 to confirm with Crucial/Micron.

Also, Hyundai's website (I have no link - sorry) is reported to have .pdf files that explain all the codes on countless varieties of memory chips. But I don't think you need that kind of info.

basically i think you have a very good module there. whether or not your stick is one of them, some went all the way to 133.
