I like geforce 2mx(leadtek with 2 monitor output + tv out, 5ns mem etc..)i have it under win2k. But their multi monitor sucks. I had a g450 before and I loved it, but gaming suck.

Can't we combine both card? no really is the next version of matrox card good for gaming, I heard no, but i pray to g-d yes.

I would have to agree. Matrox cards have always been all about business applications and awesome 2D performance, as well as excellent MMS support. i was the guy selling the quad-head G100s in the FS/FT forum, and although those cards were a bit old, they were GREAT.

I've tried a few of the dual monitor video cards, an Asus Gf2MX twinview, a Radeon VE, and the G450, and all I have to say is FUGGETABOUTIT.

It's all about getting a monster fast primary video card, and a good 2d pci video card like an S3 for your secondary. It's not like those are expensive anyway. And besides, I don't know of any games that are multi-monitor, so it's not like you're going to need 3d acceleration on that second monitor anyway..

but then again, for those of you who have pci slots as prime real estate, it's a different story...

the g400 max with dual head is faster than the g450.

my primary card is an aiw radeon, and my secondary is a 4 MB matrox mystique (pre 220)... i need to replace mine with an 8MB board. but i am in no hurry
