Is their any improvements from Pioneer DVD-105S to 106S?

In addition to 106S can utilize DMA66 and the cache shrinks from 512K to 256K (improvement?)

AFAIK, the cache in the -105S was also 256k.

Yes, it is slightly faster, utilizes the ATA66 standard, and they improved the DAE problems the 105S had...

How about noise reduction? IMHO, that's the only real "problem" of the DVD-A05S. Everything else is picture perfect to me.

Nope..they are the same noisy beasts they alway were. The 500+CFM moving through my case muffles it nicely though..
