Is their an EVGA upgrade policy?

I was reading a UK website that was reviewing an EVGA 7300GT video card that stated EVGA has a video card upgrade service. If a person who purchased an EVGA video card was unsatisfied with the performance of the card, he or she could upgrade to the next card for a fee. Does this service apply to the US also and what are the requirements to upgrade? Are their any other video card manufactures that offer a similiar service too? Sorry for the Newby question, but I'm trying to determine if I want to buy a Gigabyte 7600GT or an EVGA 7600GT video card. If I'm not happy with performance of the 7600GT from EVGA, then I could just pay the difference to upgrade to an EVGA 7900GT if the service is offered here in the US. Any information is appreciated, Thanks.

Hell yeah it is!

From the site:

The EVGA Step-up? Program is limited to residents of the Continental US, Canada and Europe only.

Although it only lasts for 90 days. IF you wait past 90days you can't do anything. There's alot of restrictions and my least favorite is having to send the old card first (having no card at all for a while) and wait for a new one.

Some manufacturers handle warranties in a cross-ship manner if you want. Meaning they take your CC# and send the new product out. You can then put the old one in the box and ship to them without them charging you for the new one. If you don't send your old one within a certain time then you are charged the full retail price for the new one. eVGA doesn't do this.
