Is their a good network kit available?

I'm getting ready to setup a network for my extra computer, and was wondering if their is a kit and witch one to get? Thanks in advance.

I would say if your goal is a peer-to-peer network containing two or three computers for file sharing (or the like) purpose, any hub/NIC should be able to handle it. I would suggest you get some cheap stuff and play with it first.
