Is their a Floppy Guy

I have a 3/12 floppy drive and the light on the floppy will not come off. Any suggestions or should I get a new one. Thanks Mac2001

if you mean it won't turn off, the controller cable is on wrong

Did it work before? If you just installed it the cable is probably upside down 🙂

make sure you have the red line on the cable with pin 1

Agreed, that sounds like something i did once. If you are trying to pull the floppy light off the drive itself then I would suggest banging your head against a wall a couple of times 😀

I had this exact same problem as you did when I was building my rig. They are right, your floppy cable is on upside down. All you have to do is reverse it and it should be just fine.
