On another note, whats a good phone to get to use with my new vonage account. I am thinking I want one of the ones with expandable headsets, so I can have a phone upstairs and down

Any other must have accessories for this bad boy?

Still trying to figure out how to set it up. I currently have my xbox hooked via component into my infocus SP4805. I am guessing I will probably want to hook the 360 up to the infocus. Not sure if I want to leave the xbox there and just switch the cables every time, buy a component switch, or just move the xbox either to my TV or computer. But I am not sure if it will work right with my computer.

I will likely end up keeping my original xbox and modding it or something, but still nto sure if I want to trade in my madden game

I doubt you'll find an equivalent price for the PS3, so why not go with the 360? You're basically only missing out on MGS and FF.

EDIT: Oops, you already got it.

Yeah i was a big ace combat fan too, but as was pointed out, the PS3 is gonna be crazy expensive.

I'll be realistic: eventually I'll have all three of the consoles. I will have the Wii by the day the new Metroid comes out, period. PS3... not sure. I still have to beat FFX (and at least make it to the last disc of FFIX) before I start in on any more FF goodness.

So MGS is worth $660+? As for GT, they have many similar games that, imo, have been better for the past several years.

Don't get me wrong... I've owned every Sony system so far (including the PSP). But the PS3 just isn't that big a deal to me.

No, they don't have Gran Turismo, but they have Forza 2 on Xbox 360. :)

DMC is coming to Xbox360, and GT on PS3 is just GT4 for PS2 in 1080p. And GT4 runs in 1080i on the PS2.

So will my ncaa draft classes from the xbox version work on the 360 version of madden?

Edit, I guess thats a moot point, since I didn't realize the memory cards where different.

Are ther any good stands that will hold both the xbox and the 360? Is it better to lay the 360 flat or stand it on end? And is one of those fan coolers a good idea for it?

I currently have my xbox on the bottom shelf of a bookshelf. The area I have to work with is about 15.5 inches wide(well the shelf is that wide, I have room on either side though)and about 14 inches tall, and probably 2 feet deep.I do lso have room on the next shelf up, but that is holding my receiver, and its porbably not a great idea to put anything on top of it, right? So I am guessing my best bet is to just lay both systems horizontally and stack one about the other, but I would prefer to separate them with some sort of rack or something, any ideas?

Keep it in a cool spot/place. It can get really hot.

I don't know if the area I will be using is cool, but it shouldn't be very hot. Like I said, its a bookshelf, it is beside my couch and against the wall, but the front and other side are open. It is below my receiver, but there is a shelf between the 2.

What gets hot, the unit itself, the power brick or both?

Well better to ask the questions now, then do something wrong, break the thing and then be asking how to fix it or remedy the problem. You don't have to answer any questions if you don't want to, but I appreciate the help. But I guess I will just go with what I got and hopefully not break anything.

I picked up a simple wire grid shelving system from Wally World to put my gamesystems on. All the systems are elevated and have plenty of air circulation above and below. Even my old PSX, complete with its plastic CPU heatsink, doesn't overheat so long as its in the shelves. I'd suggest you get something like that. Last I checked a small set of the metal shelving things was $5 at Wally World

So I just got an email at work, telling all employees at my company, that this week only we can get the xbox 360 with a100 dollar instant rebate, instead of the100MIR I got last week. I want my money now, not in 2 months. Looks like another trip to microcenter is in store for me.
