Is the x2x0 still the best ultraportable?

I was looking for a windows ultraportable .. something around $500-$600 used/new/refurb/whatever.

I loved my x220, but only griped about the screen resolution. IS there anything around 12" that has higher then 1366 x 768 with an IPS around that price?

so go with the x230?

I did... $600 off ibm's site:

Your only options for greater than 720p at that size is the chromebook pixel or the new Samsung ultra book I think might have 2560x1440 or similar.

The new Dell XPS 13s go for $800-$900 on the dell outlet. If you can wait a week or two, they keep having 25% off coupons for Dell Outlet, which brings the cost to a little over $600.

1080p IPS. It's 13", but smaller then my brothers x230. It is significantly less exandable, however.
