Is the X1950Pro going to be enough?

Meh, if you can find one of the 512MB ones (I believe Newegg has one in, made by Diamond), then it might be worth it. It's a great bang for the buck card, but you'll want the extra framebuffer if you want to run at higher resolutions with AA and what not. If you can get a X1900XT/X, that would be equal/better. How much are you willing to spend and do you need dual/single slot cooling? Need to know more to recommend something, but the Pro may not run too great at that res. At 1600X1200, it loses considerable enough performance to worry about.

I'm currently playing stuff like half-life2, counterstrike source, black and white 2, and neverwinter nights 2. I was hoping to not have to spend more than $220ish, but I'm willing to if I'm not going to be happy with this card.

Oh, well, you'll probably be happy with this card with those games. Only one I don't know about is NWN2. You should be good.
