Hello everyone!!

I have been trying to access the www site for the past 4 hours. I keep getting the following error:

HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden
Internet Explorer

Are you guys getting the same thing? Are the www and the forum servers different?

The Forums run on a different server to the one which provides the main AT page. I have not tried to go to the main page yet but I think it could be something to do with the AT team testing out how much the At forums can handle.

The forums and main site each have several different servers (i.e. www2.anandtech.com, forums3.anandtech.com ,etc.). I am not having a problem accessing either site.
 
Yeah, WTH are you talking about, worms? If anything, the new forums servers are working way better for me.

Zuni, don't listen to crap like that. The sites here get an insane amount of traffic and I thank you for working to keep them as fast as they are.
 
These Servers are sustaining and lasting! Zuni has been really working hard to keep these servers running! And the new layout of these forums are much better! The only thing which might need a change maybe in the future upgrade or change would be the PM message icon. When I get a PM it doesn't really flash well, or not noticable, so I always have to read the writing instead to know if I have a PM or not.

But thanks for the Changes anyway Zuni! Much more profesional and easy to look at!

I applaud your great service and certainly enjoy the great speed of your servers but this last week especially, this morning included, I have been unable to connect to any Anand anything and get the 403 Forbidden error. After retrying for an hour or so it finally works. And yes, I surf various websites without issue during the entire hour. I suppose it could be a data path problem but it's easier to just blame you😉

While I have your ear, I must say that the location of the search button on the forum search page is really frustrating because I almost always instinctively hit the "select all" button when I want search. Have you considered moving the "select all" button to the top of the square?
