I'm supposed to be on Continental #2588 to Newark, and they won't even let us board because of a ground stop at Newark.
I interpreted this to mean that international and cross-country arrivals are being given priority, and that regional flights of 1 hour or less in length aren't even allowed to take off while Newark's airport operations are constrained and playing catch-up. Yeah, some "weather delay". This sucks, because there is NO TIMETABLE for when we can leave. The counter folks aren't giving us ANY INFORMATION and most of the passengers have already missed their international connections (I'm only trying to get to NYC for a birthday party.)
Oh well, at least the airport has wifi (but its really slow.)
