Is the Verizon Yahoo for Broadband upgrade worthwhile to install?

I just got Verizon DSL (768/128).

I can get the Verizon Yahoo for Broadband upgrade for free. It includes an antivirus program, spyware program, etc. Is it worthwhile to install?

Hows the Dl speeds? I'm thinkign of killing my 3MbPS connection with verizon and gettign EVDO, which is 400-700 Kbps. I'm afraid I won't like it heh.
