Is The Vanquish S Gear Box That bad ?

One from top gear, where Jezzar says its far too jerky and keeps braking

And one by fifth gear where vicky twice breaks the belt thingy from oversteering the car.

Is the vanquish S that flawed ?

I think its a beautiful car. That and the XJ 220 are my faves, I just dont like the idea that its a car with crap build quality.

Still, Vanquish S being the flagship should be better. It looks so heavy too, they should tune that V12 to get 600 BHP, tehn it might outrun a 575 !

Its an ep of top gear 14/11/04. Clarkson says he likes it but the car is ruined by the gear box, its too jerky and keeps braking.

A lot of people just don't know how to drive with those kinds of transmittions.....even professionals. They keep the gas pedal down while they shift, when they are realy supposed to left off the gas like they would when clutching in a manual. Otherwise, they will indeed jerk you if you don't let off the gas.
