Here's my rig so far :

Amd athlon xp 2100+
Gigabyte k7triton t600 (sp?)
512 pc2700 ram
80 gig WD 7200 rpm hdd
------> Geforce 4 ti 4200 128mb tv-out <------

So my question is:

IS IT worth to buy the MSI AGP RADEON RX9800PRO-TD128SP 128M and put it instead of the GF4 ti4200?

Will this make a big impact in videogames...(around 10 fps more or..u know !)

Thanks for the help.

PS: Feel free to suggest a videocard that is in my budjet (350 cnd)

(or should i change the mobo/processor to athlon 64 2800+ and nf3 mobo)

it will for sure make an impact.

But for $350 can,you can also get a geforce 6800.So you should get that

However that would be extremely limited by the rest of his system. Even a 9800 pro is pushing it, though he would definitely see some improvement.

No, I believe even the 9800 pro will be bottlenecked to some extent by the cpu. If you could oc you cpu it would help.
