I quite agree. When an American citizen travels abroad, they can and will be judged for the actions of our government.

Shortly after 911 Muslin anger was more directed at Europe for the sins of its colonial past.
While the USA tended to get a pass.

Now after the US screw ups in the occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan focuses on the USA. Obama bought some Muslim good will after his Cairo speech, but now that he wimps out while proving his words mean nothing, regarding a Palestinian State, Obama has blown much of his credibility.

Worse yet, in terms of GWB's so called war on terror, its only had the net effect of creating more terrorists than ever before while the US economy goes into the toilet.

So, again, bottom line, no I don't feel safer yet. Quite the contrary, I feel more endangered than ever before.
