Is the thermal monitor on my 2500K calibrated poorly?

At 1.3v and 4.4 GHz, my 2500K pulls around 120W according to HWMonitor.

Core 0 peaks at around 60 C. Cores 1-3 all hit around 70 C. Package temperature is 70 C.

I don't trust the thermal monitor because it apparently idles at 20 C. As far as I know, my ambient temperature is at or above 20 C.

Is this a common issue?

Totally disregard idles given by the on-chip thermistors. They're accurate near tjmax, but the farther you get from it, the more off they are. It's relatively common to see readings below ambient when idle, due to the inaccuracy.
