I've never thought that it could be offensive till a friend mentioned that it might

Yes. Not Asian. Some guy called me a ricer the other day. I was more confused than anything but I was a little offended.

im asian, and i dont find it offensive AT ALL.

those turds who do that crap to their car, need more hate then just being called ricers, they need to have rice throw at them.

that brings another topic to mind. is it me, or do all kfc and churches chicken commercials always have blacks eating chicken, i never see an asian or white dood chomping some chicken in those commercials.

No. Everyone is too easily offended these days. People are so uptight that I'm sure a lot of people, even several here, go out of there way to LOOK for ways to become offended every day.

The term is supposed to be offensive, but not towards asians. At least that's how I see it.
