Is the Steam Account Name the same as Your user name when playing online?

I just got orange box for my birthday, woot. I'm in the process of installing it, an I'm at the "Create Steam Account" dialog box. Does the account Name and password that I use to log into my Steam account end up being the Name of my online player when playing TF2 online? Or do I have the choice to name my player any name I want regardless of my Steam Account name?

no, you can change your name to be anything you want as often as you want.
