Is the Sopranos worth watching all of?

Definitely good. The last season is a little weird, but it's good in a different way than the rest of the series.

What's funny is noticing how much James Gandolfini's (Tony Soprano) accent changes throughout the seasons. In the first one he sounds like an American guy trying to pass off a bad Italian accent. By the end he's got it down and it's pretty thick.

You won't know until you watch the first ep. I'm on S05, close to being finished.. it was worth it so far for me.

The Sopranos is a great series. So is "Rome", "The Wire", and "Entourage". HBO has really put out some great television, it's just unfortunate that they create huge gaps between seasons at times.

There are some times when the Sopranos drags and some others that it drives you crazy because it looks like something really explosive is about to happen and then it doesn't, but on the whole it's WELL worth watching. Go for the whole series, start S1E1 and it'll hook you quickly.

Kind of. The behavior of the characters made me sick, especially Tonys nephew Christopher (Michael Imperioli). He was such a wanna be dirtbag with those stupid buck teeth of his. He looks like one of those cry baby bullies. Real tough when hes with his friends, but get him alone and he would cry not to get his ass kicked. Ive known people like that.

rome was *great*

ive seen a couple seasons of the sopranos a while back. good, but i forgot to netflix the rest of them

It gets incredibly depressing after the fourth season or so. If you do decide to watch it, make sure you take it in small doses.

I watched the first season and was not impressed. Maybe it got better, it had to in order to be so popular... I hope

if you like violent, gangster movies with profanity (like me) then you'll love it.

I started at the beginning and did the whole thing. Very glad I did.

Great show. You won't be disappointed if you're like me and grohl--who like violent, gangster movies. That are also very well made--there is reason the show and the actors won Emmy's each year the show was on.

It's definitely worth watching all of. Even though after you've finished it, I'm sure you'll agree that there were some episodes (seasons?) that really didn't add anything to the series, they're all still all worth watching. Especially if the cost to you is $0.

Yes, my wife and I watched the entire series over a few weeks. Great series. Then we moved onto the Wire. We have 1.5 seasons left of the Wire.

Another great non-hbo series is Jericho. It doesn't have good closure but it is a great series.

The Sopranos to Jericho is like a fine 20-year-old bottle of wine to a six of Schlitz 😕

Pretty much. Jericho had a lot of potential. Hell, I'll even go so far as to admit that season one was entertaining and kept my attention. And then season two ruined everything.

It's not their fault though, blame the network.
