Is The Snake The Cross The Crown a satanic band?

It matters about as much as it matters if they are a Christian band or not. Good music is good music. It shouldn't become better or worse because it has a religious bent.

Hence the question.

So just because you think a song is good means that the message is not important? I think the most important part is the message that the song is trying to convey and that is what I am trying to find.

Maybe my new thread will attract an actual answer. Not trying to troll just proving a point.

Thanks.

No, my point is just that you don't have to agree with the message to enjoy good music and vice versa.
I disagree with about 80% of the "messages" in Cat Stevens songs, yet he remains to this day one of my favorite songwriters.

I'm just trying to figure out if you're asking a common ATOT loaded question: "Should I change my opinion of this band based on their religious affiliation?"

The answer to that would be "No."

If you just want to know just because you are trying to dig deeper into the meaning....well, the band name certainly points in the direction of a Christian theme, but they certainly keep it ambiguous in their marketing, probably to avoid the stigma that often comes with being labelled as a religious band. I couldnt' find much evidence one way or the other.

Edit: Not trying to troll you either - I've just seen more than once similar threads with people on both sides saying "It's a religious band? Guess I won't listen to them anymore..." or the opposite, "It's NOT a religious band? Guess I won't listen to them anymore..."
That just seems silly to me.

And still my question reminds unanswered.

So if you like a song and you find out it has anti sematic messages will you still listen to it? Will you support the artist by purchases their album? Request the song to your local radio station?

Honestly, it makes no different to me if they are a christian band or not, but I think it is important to findout what kind of inspiration an artist has and likewise what type of message and meaning the song has.
